It is with great pleasure that on behalf of the Trust Board I can confirm the appointment of Moss Patterson to the role of Executive Director of ATAMIRA Dance Company
The Trust Board was impressed by the thoroughness of Moss’s preparation for his interview and the overall vision he presented to the Board. The vision he presented was in line with the Board’s desire for sustained forward momentum with Atamira's overall direction, and tackled some key areas that we acknowledge need strengthening and development. In addition, Moss’s skills as a dance artist in his own right and the vision to highlight Te Reo Maori and Tikanga practices are pivotal to a bigger picture which we hope will influence and benefit the collective.
Moss will commence in the position of Executive Director on Monday 7 December 2009.
