Jack Gray is a founder of Atamira and an internationally recognised advocate of how contemporary Maori cultural practices can enhance and develop innovative indigenous dance artists and shape global communities.
His resume includes workshops, scholarships and residencies with BlakDance (Queensland, Australia), Marrugekku (Broome, Australia), Dancing Earth (New Mexico, USA), Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum (Honolulu, Hawaii), the University of Hawaii at Manoa, the University of California Berkeley and the University of California Riverside.
Jack is a choreographer, dancer, teacher, and writer committed to evolving dialogues with Aotearoa and international indigenous peoples.
